My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hoping to find a compassionate home for our vizsla, Miles. We are willing to pay for behavioral training. Miles’ energy, intelligence & emotional depth make him a great companion. Miles has a special bond with our other dog, Sally, and we love him dearly. But, we face a difficult reality. Miles has a history of aggression primarily stemming from resource guarding. He has bitten my male partner on several occasions. In response, we've engaged behavioral specialists and pursued training & medication interventions. These efforts have brought marked improvements, but the arrival of our daughter means we can’t overlook the risks. We are committed to finding Miles a home where he can live happily and safely, away from young children, and with the space and structure he needs. He excels in company of well-socialized, medium to large dogs. We believe he would thrive in a place with ample outdoor space to explore and play. His ideal home would be with experienced dog handlers with no children.
