What is Rehome?
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Shihka (She-ka) is a diva, as you can see in the first photo :) She is the second of three dogs in my family. She is a rescue and we adopted her six years ago from a foster who was caring for her after she was abandoned by her previous owner. The foster named her Shihka and we decided to keep the name. She is full of love and has brought so much love, care, laughter, healing and wonderful memories over the years. She is a special energy with two different colored eyes.
Shihka suffers from anxiety, likely from bad treatment from her previous owner. Due to her anxiety, she tends to dig holes and chew on outdoor furniture, and she has done the same to indoor furniture especially when visitors arrive. Plenty of exercise has helped her with managing her anxiety, but she needs more attention. Having three dogs now as a single parent is too much for me to handle, and I would like to find a caring home that will give Shihka the love, care and attention that she needs.
