My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Piper, Piper, Piper, what can we say about little Piper. Well, we'll start by letting you know that Piper is a spitfire who marches to her own beat. She is often aloof, but when she becomes comfortable with you, she might just jump in your lap for some affection or do a walk by just to check in on you with a glance or two and then go on her merry way. She lets you know what works for her.

Piper is one independent girl who enjoys playing with her roommates so another small dog in the family who likes to have fun is a must and would bring out Piper's quirky, keep you laughing, personality.

When on her walks, Piper often takes a running start before diving and rolling on her back. Asphalt, sidewalks, grass and dirt, you name it, Piper loves rolling in it. You can see the joy in her face. Simple things like squeaky toys, treats and a doggie companion make Piper oh so very happy.

Our little Piper had a rocky start in life, but thanks to our dedicated volunteers, and her favorite treats, she has blossomed into one happy-go-lucky pup. Now Piper let's people pet her, hold her and play with her and she loves rough housing with her roomies. Boy does Piper deserve a loving home where she will be loved and accepted for her uniqueness. Could that be you?

Come meet this silly little girl and see for yourself what a great addition she can be to your family. Wags and Kisses.
