My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fawn came into our facility as a stray back in September of 2023. She was running loose for quite some time and unfortunately had a severe skin infection which has now since cleared. We are not sure of her age but are estimating her age to be around 2 years old. She is a very sweet girl and loves people. Her adoption fee is NO CHARGE and she just needs an amazing forever home. She will be spayed prior to adoption, has been vaccinated, heartworm tested negative and microchipped. Please call 630-553-9256 if interested in scheduling an appointment to meet Fawn.

Any adult age 18 or older may complete an adoption application and be considered as a candidate for adopting a dog or cat from the Kendall County Animal Control.
Applications may take up to 24 hours to be approved.

The fees for adoption are as follows:

Puppies (Less than 6 Months) $115.00
Dogs (Over 6 Months) $100.00
Cats (Over 3 Months) $70.00
Kittens (Less than 3 Months) $95.00

The adoption fee for a dog includes: a microchip, spay/neuter and bordetella, distemper and rabies vaccination.
The cat adoption fee includes: Distemper shot, spay/neuter and microchip.

Kendall County Animal Control is the county agency responsible for enforcement of the state statutes governing rabies control in domestic companion animals. The State of Illinois requires that all dogs are vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian. Compliance with this law is monitored through the issuance of rabies tags for all dogs residing in the county. All dogs are required to wear their rabies tags when off of the owner's property. If a pet is lost, rabies tags also provide an excellent means of identifying your pet.

Kendall County Animal Control also enforces the county's ordinance that prohibits dogs from running at large in unincorporated residential subdivisions, investigates reports of animal bites, and will pick up contained stray dogs in unincorporated Kendall County during operating hours. Stray and owner released cats and dogs may also be brought to the facility during business hours. Cats and dogs are available for adoption at the facility.
