My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clifford reminds us of Scooby-Do but he is not as big. He is 3 years old and an agile 45 lbs. If you are looking for a sleek, sweet and sensational pup, Clifford is your guy. He would love a house full of tennis balls. He can play fetch endlessly but will not keep bugging you when you stop playing. He alerts you to strangers at the door but will quiet down once you reassure him that they are OK. We describe him as a super mutt as we assume that he has lots of different dogs DNA. He has lived with another dog, cat and infants to toddlers. He likes to snuggle on the couch or will lay down on the floor with his head resting on your feet.

Home Check

With arranging Home Visit, qualify applicant for home visit based on potential matches for our dogs.

3.

Meet the Pet

After meeting Pet, if both parties feel it is a good match then the adoption can officially take place.

Additional adoption info

If there is a match/fit, an adoption contract is signed and adoption donation collected. Pet goes home with the adopter. Microchip information on new owner is then submitted to registry. Rescue always stays as a contact on the microchip registry.

Go meet their pets

All of our dogs are staying in foster homes throughout our service area in the following counties: Los Angeles and San Diego. Once it is determined that the dog you are looking for is a match, arrangements are made to visit the dog either at the foster's home or at a mutually agreed place.

More about this rescue

The primary mission of our organization is to rescue and re-home Retrievers (Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Flat Coated Retrievers, Curly Coated Retrievers, Duck Tolling Retrievers, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and Retriever mixes) and find new, loving homes for them. We will take the very young to the very old, the very sick to the unwanted. Every dog is an individual and will be placed in homes that meet their needs and where their individuality can thrive. We are an all volunteer run organization Newly formed at end of year 2019. Our founders have 20 years rescue experience. We are a foster based organization and need foster homes so we can rescue more dog. Donations are greatly appreciated!
