Meet JIMOTHY...
He is a gorgeous, ~2-year-old, medium-sized, ~50-lb shepherd-Akita mix with beautiful colorings and eyes.
By all volunteer and staff accounts, JIMOTHY is a very sweet dog. He was a great little passenger on a short transport---very sweet and loving. He has been excellent with little kids.
JIMOTHY knows 'sit' and appears to be very attentive to his handler (maybe it was the treats?). We recently learned that he is likely cat-friendly.
JIMOTHY rode well in a vehicle with another big dog. He even played off-leash at a local dog park that included a few dogs.
From his foster family: "He loves people and good with all dogs of any size, and cats. He’s house trained, crate trained and leash trained. He knows sit and comes when called. No food aggression, takes treats gently and is food motivated to learn more. He’s medium size, about 50 pounds and pretty much perfect. We sure do love him a lot! "

BACKGROUND: He gave a parvo scare when he first arrived at the Jerome Shelter and received immediate vet care. After 3 days getting a little TLC, he was fine.
