My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lisa was a last minute addition to our transport list when we got an urgent plea for a rescue to tag her. As soon as we saw her pictures we couldn’t resist and made room for her. She is thought to be just under a year old and a hound mix (possibly plott hound?). Lisa can be extremely timid at first but is also conflicted because she really wants attention, which results in adorable, nervous, booty wiggles. Once she warms up she is absolutely certain she can fit in your lap and just wants to be loved on. Her last facility said she had the best puppy dog eyes and they were right. Lisa could really use a foster home until she gets adopted, if you want to apply to foster or adopt Lisa go to Lolasrescue.com under available animals

It is our hope to save as many adoptable dogs as possible from uncertain futures, and find them forever, loving homes. Our dogs come from all situations, from families that can no longer keep them, strays, to shelter dogs that are on the euthanasia lists at high kill shelters around the country.

Our rescue is run solely on the help from our dedicated fosters, volunteers, and donations. We are always searching for new amazing fosters and volunteers to help us expand our mission and do even more amazing life saving work in the future.
