Styx is making fantastic progress on his journey to finding his forever home! Despite his initial car sickness, he's learning to overcome it with patience and positive reinforcement. He's also been working hard on socializing with children, and we're thrilled to see him improving! Styx is a pro at both kennel and house training, and he's mastered responding to his name and walking on a leash like a champ.

I am not just another black dog! My name is Styx and I am a survivor! A real hero and I've made my rescuers proud. I've done so well with my training and playing with so many fur friends at the rescue! I really didn't think I would see another Christmas in my lifetime because the odds were against me. I had been at the shelter for some time and they had already set a date for me to depart this world. BUT, the kind folks at Let Love Live saw my sweet face and my loving and playful disposition and rescued me just in time right before Christmas.
I love life. Im a people pleaser and I really enjoy meeting new fur kids. I'm happy, walk well on leash and love playing with other pups, males and females! I turn the other way if a pup doesnt want to be my friend but it doesnt hurt my feelings because I know how it feels to not know if the new kid is going to be nice or not. But Im the nice guy in the room.
