"Pardon the smudge on my right eye - I come by it naturally!" There is quite a lot of character in this face! Gosh, we love the spots in JOE'S ears and the pink splotches on his mouth & chin. What an absolute cutie-pie! Joe is a rather smart fella, as he responds to the "sit" command and will ever so slyly work his body down to your hands for a butt rub! You might not think a Bulldog/Staffordshire Terrier mix would have a soft coat, but Joe's fur is super silky soft. Think about cuddling with this sweet boy on chilly nights - no need for a blanket - you have all the softness and warmth right by your side. Joe is friendly and playful with other dogs at the shelter, but we always recommend that potential adopters bring their dog(s) and children along for a visit to ensure compatibility. Our visiting hours are Mon, Wed-Fri 10am-3:30pm, or you may call our front desk at 228-466-4516 to schedule an appointment. *Joe's adoption fee is $75, which includes deworming, neutering, vaccines, microchip, heartworm test, and a free vet check with one of our participating veterinarians. An approved adoption application always applies!
