Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Licorice was left outside a local pet store in a small carrier. It was believed she was pregnant, due to her size, however, on her exam at our vet, she was discovered to be declawed and spayed. She is slightly overweight, but doesn't seem to be an overeater in her foster home. She is such an affectionate love bug, craving snuggles and loving whenever she can get it. She doesn't seem bothered by the other kitties in her home, and would be fine with older children in her forever home-more hands to pet her! She is FIV/FelV negative, flea treated and dewormed, is declawed and spayed.

An adoption application can be found at www.oxfordcountyanimalrescue.com (click on Adopt, then Cats for Adoption, then scroll to the bottom of the page). We require 2 non-familial references (including contact numbers) as well as permission to speak with your vet.
Please note that yearly vet visits are a requirement for all our adopted kitties. If this is not your past practice, your application will not move forward.
You must be 21 years old to adopt. The adoption fee is $200.
It may take up to 72 hours to approve your application. Please provide all requested information, including contact numbers, to help expedite the process. Repeated phone calls and emails will not move your application along.
We are a volunteer, foster based rescue. We are not able to facilitate meet and greets before an application is received. You are not able to meet multiple kitties to see if one fits as the animals may be fostered in different locations.
