This helps Rescue Me Georgia, INC with pet care costs.
Meet Stitch! Boy oh boy has this guy been through the wringer in his one year of life - seems he just cannot catch a break! Originally dumped at a rural county shelter by a "rescuer" after having been bottle fed as a baby (we have no idea why he needed to be bottle fed), Stitch was neutered too young and then had a reaction to his sutures which required a second surgery. RMG just happened to be at the shelter the day of his second surgery, so we were able to bring him back to Atlanta with us so he could recover in a foster home. Not long after that, this poor little guy came down with parvo and spent weeks and weeks recovering from that! Once he was finally healthy, Stitch was adopted into a home and we thought he had finally found his happily ever after. Unfortunately, unbeknownst to us, one of the other dogs in the home began attacking him. Once we found out the extent of the situation, we made plans to bring Stitch back into the rescue as soon as he was released from the hospital.
A few weeks have gone by and Stitch is finally ready for his TRUE Happily Ever After! This sweet soulful boy wants nothing more than a forever person to love him completely and a dog friend to play with. He is crate trained, house trained, and gets along great with other dogs. Stitch would make a wonderful addition to almost any family!
