My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi there! I'm Shia, a bundle of joy and energy wrapped up in a furry package! A couple of years ago, I was given the best gift ever — my human! We've had a blast together, exploring, playing, and just being the best of friends. I'm the kind of dog who loves to be in the thick of things, always eager to meet new friends, both human and furry. I've never been one to growl or get upset; I'm all about the love and fun. I've mastered all the basic commands, and I'm proud to say I'm house-trained too. Playdates with other dogs are my favorite. I get along with everyone and never start any trouble. But here's the thing, life's thrown us a bit of a curveball. My human's job and lifestyle have gotten really busy, and as much as it breaks both our hearts, we've realized I need a bit more time and attention than what can be given right now.
So, we're on the lookout for a new family for me, one where I can continue to spread my joy and get the love and playtime I so deserve. If you're looking for a loyal, playful, and loving companion, look no further – I'm right here waiting for you!

If you are interested in meeting Shia, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and email it back to us at info@farescue.org or fax (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions.

[Shia is 2.5 years old and weighs 52 lbs.]
