Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We are accepting applications but won’t be finalizing adoptions until after Christmas. Thank you and Happy Holidays!
Meet Button, a 12-year-old Yorkie with a heart full of love seeking a patient and gentle home. Button may be shy at first, but underneath that timid exterior is a loyal companion eager to find a calm environment. He enjoys quiet moments and would thrive in a peaceful household where he can blossom into the confident old man he's meant to be. If you're ready to offer Button a comforting haven in his golden years, he'll reward you with unwavering loyalty and sweet companionship.
Button is the ultimate lap dog and will make himself right at home on your lap. He enjoys napping (cuddling), treats, walks, and pretending he’s a guard dog with his mighty 10-pound frame. Button needs to be on a harness as he pulls and barks, especially when other dogs are in sight. He would do best in a home where he is the only dog, and we recommend he be in a home with no young children. A quiet and peaceful environment would be ideal for him. He is house broken and is pretty much happy to sleep anywhere (whether it be on the bed, couch, or dog bed). He has not been tested around cats.
Don't let his age fool you – he still has a lot of love and light to give, and he can't wait to be a part of your family. If you're looking for a loyal companion who will cherish every moment with you, Button is your guy.
Button has been neutered, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped.
