Background: Petey is a lovable and affectionate sweetheart who joined the shelter in October. He was found wandering around and what appeared to be irritation from a tight or embedded collar. Despite this, he remains a happy-go-lucky guy ready to bring joy to a forever family.
Personality: Petey is a huge love bug who adores snuggling with his humans. He's happiest when resting his head in the crook of your arm or lounging by your side. With a wagging tail and friendly demeanor, Petey is always ready to shower his family with love and affection. He's described as friendly, goofy, and happy-go-lucky, making him an ideal family dog who particularly loves kids.
Skills and Behavior: Petey is well-behaved and a quick learner, knowing commands like "no" and "drop it." He's reported to sleep through the night and hold his pee until it's time to go outside. While he initially pulled on the leash during walks, he quickly calmed down, showcasing his intelligence and adaptability.
