Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Calling for all BOXER LOVERS!!
Fallon is a super sweet senior special needs lady looking for her perfect fit home!
Could you be that caretaker that she needs?
This most beautiful, loving, kind, sweet natured, adoring, grateful, gal has had a tough life and is looking for a soft landing. She is over 8 years old, and was very, very skinny and unable to stand on her rear legs when she was dumped at our shelter. She had horrible teeth, ear infections, diarrhea, and eye ulcers all holding her back. With some time and TLC and medical care, Fallon has bloomed like a spring flower. Her eyes and ears have healed but will require lifelong artificial tears applied to eyes to keep them healthy. She was spayed and had her teeth cleaned and some rotten ones pulled. She has put on wt. and started walking and even running short distances but is still very wobbly and unsteady on her rear legs due to spinal arthritis. She will drag her toes so a yard is a must for exercise to build up her hind end muscles. She has rubber booties if she must walk on asphalt. She can manage 2-3 stairs with help but flat, good footing surfaces are best. She is great with cats, kids, and other mild mannered dogs that aren't too rough. She is crate trained and housebroken but can have accidents in house if left too long alone. Fallon is currently in foster with our vet and she would be more than happy to talk more about this wonderful couch cuddler!
