My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Emmie is currently in foster care and available to meet you via virtual meet and greet. To start the process, please submit an application above! Contact fosternyc@bestfriends.org for any questions.

Meet Emmie, a gentle 2-year-old grey female cat with a heart as soft as her fur. Emmie is a shy but sweet soul, known for her gentle nature and affectionate demeanor once she warms up to you. She may be initially timid, especially around loud noises, but she blossoms into a loving companion in the right environment. Emmie enjoys quiet moments and loves nothing more than cuddling up with her human friends, finding comfort and security in their presence. At 2 years old, she has matured into a wonderful companion, ready to share her warmth and love with a patient and understanding family. Emmie has been spayed, microchipped, dewormed, and vaccinated, ensuring she's in excellent health.

Please note that we offer same-day adoptions, and no pets can be held.
