Stanley spends most of his days at his foster home sleeping on corner of the sofa, following his foster Mom everywhere-bathroom-kitchen-bedroom—and walks of course!
He is truly enjoying his retirement years and he would love to find a quiet home where he can continue to do so. He is very good with all creatures he has no issue with cats and other dogs.
He wants to be part of the group and loves to know he’s loved. He is absolutely a wonderful guy. His Bob tail goes at 100 mph when he is being loved. He loves people, does great with kids. He is a Ladies Man and prefers women, but men are ok too.
He is house trained but being a senior gentleman he needs to go more often and early in morning.
He has just completed his heartworm treatment and will start his daily walks again now that the exercise restrictions have been lifted. He is very good on a leash and stays right next to you on walks.

*Animals who are not fully vaccinated and altered are not eligible for long distance adoption.
When you adopt a pet from Midwest Animal Rescue and Services, your adoption fee covers: Microchip and registration, Core Vaccines including Rabies, Distemper and bordetella, age appropriate heartworm testing or FeLV-FIV testing, sterilization, heartworm/flea-tick prevention and deworming while in foster care.
Adoption fees are non-negotiable and can be paid by cashier's check, money order or credit card. We do not accept personal checks.
Any issues that arise after adoption are the full responsibility of the adopter after the finalization of adoption. Adoption fees are only part of the expense of owning a pet, so we ask you to consider the costs for the life of the pet before adoption. We recommend pet insurance.
