Cat located in this city:Daytona Beach

Cat’s Name:PEANUT

Cat’s Age & Sex: 5 months old , Female

Cat’s vetting history/ (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped):
She needs to be spayed but appointments are hard to get right now with the clinic changes.
The cost at Volusia county Animal services for spay/microchip/vaccines is only $85.
This is why Peanuts adoption fee is $85 to me at the time of adoption. BUT once you show me proof that peanut was fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped, I will quickly reimburse that full fee ($85) back to you.
I have to do this to ensure she gets fixed.

Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome):Found as a homeless kitten near Hooters as part of a litter. I knew she deserved a better life.

Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): This kitten is a total sweetheart, very docile, loves to be held and petted. She will fall asleep in my lap or laying on my stomach in the bed. She is playful and quiet, except when she's hungry she will let me know with a tiny meow that she is ready for me to feed her some new wet food. She enjoys running around the house and will hang out on my desk while I'm at the computer.

What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): Eating wet food 3 times a day and a little of dry food. Free feeding dry isn’t The best as you don’t want them filling up on that junk and not eating their dinner which is wet food. Learn more below.
:::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. At the VERY minimum each cat should get one 3oz. can of wet food a day or HALF of a 5.5oz. can a day (although we recommend double this).

IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT:
1) Please show up with a cat carrier

2) Small adoption fee of: $85 . I will reimburse this fee to you once proof of spay/microchip/vaccine is done . You can go through Volusia County Animal Services or a place near you. But just need copy of receipt before reimbursement is given.
3) I will call/text one month from adoption day just to make sure everything is going well
4) Please show up with your Driver's License.
5) Information sheet will be filled out (your information as well as mine)

*Please know, that when you bring your newly adopted cat or kitten home, it is always BEST to place him/her in a very small room (bathroom works great) with their litter box, food, water, and bed for a few days to a few weeks. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this. Thank you.
