My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Abby is a 6-7 year old Shepherd mix who gives tons of affection. Abby is blind and diabetic and does require insulin injections with breakfast and dinner. It's simple to do and she is very good about it as she’s become used to it!
She gets along with adults, children, and loves most other dogs. Her behavior at the dog park is fantastic and she's had training to follow verbal commands off leash and track you down without vision. Abby would be a wonderful and loving family dog.

Their adoption process

1.
Meet the Pet

Come to our adoption event and meet the dog you are interested in adopting or fill out our adoption application.

2.
Submit Application

After you've met the dog then you fill out our adoption application. If your application is approved we'll let you know.

3.
Approve Application

If your application is approved then we set up the home check adoption.

4.
Home Check

Then there is a home check that is when we bring the dog to the new home and if everything looks safe we leave the dog.

5.
Pay Fee

At the home check that is when you pay the adoption fee.

Additional adoption info

If you are interested in adopting an Adopt Me Rescue dog, please visit our website and fill out our adoption application www.adoptmerescue.org. We review each application and pick the most suitable situation for each dog. WE DO REQUIRE A HOME-CHECK and you must be at least 21 years of age to adopt a dog from our organization.

There is an adoption fee please e-mail us in regards to the dog your interested in and we will let you know the adoption fee.
