Alice's Story...
I'm Alice! An energetic and playful 5-6 month puppy. I can be a little shy at first but I'm working on it. I am really smart and already know my basic commands and potty training! I love hard bones and long walks. I will be the sweetest, loyal, and most loving addition to any family.

I am currently enrolled in the Pups on Parole program where I am learning my basic commands. I do have a waiting list but If you are interested in adopting me,please call 227-5555.
**Please be aware that HCWS does not have a sanctuary to view dogs. Dogs are housed in the women's correctional facility and only available for viewing on adoption days.**

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Alice, a Las Vegas Chihuahua/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Labrador Retriever for sale in Las Vegas, or seeking a Chihuahua/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Las Vegas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Las Vegas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Las Vegas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Chihuahua/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Las Vegas paves the way for another one to be saved.
