Amos Herman the 3 legged wonder amazes me with his abilities. He loves his new baby sister and they play several times a day. Tonight they were playing and next thing I knew he had jumped up in the bed.
Sweet and handsome little 3-legged Amos. When he first came to us his leg was severely injured, and in need of amputation. His elbow was shattered by a cruel human who shot him and he was allowed to suffer for weeks. This made it impossible to save his leg. Poor guy has already adjusted to walking on three legs and does not limit his walking abilities. He is doing well and enjoys playing with his foster siblings.
Amos loves to sleep on the couch with the other dogs, and is adjusting to a leash. Loves, loves and loves food, treats, and toys. Would do great in a home with other dogs. Still a little timid around people, but never growls, bites, or snips. He just needs to feel safe and learn that he can trust people which is to be expected after all he's been through. His current foster Mom states she is able to pick him up and let him be a lap baby. Amos is crate trained, eats in his crate and when he is told to get in the bed, he will get in his crate. He's around 6 years old and 20 pounds! He will make a great addition to any family!! Amos will require a fenced yard!
