Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Qwinkleshire and Binkledorf are two-year-old best friend male guinea pigs looking for a loving guardian together.
Binkledorf is a tri-color Abyssinian guinea pig; his best friend Qwinkleshire is a brown and white crowned guinea pig with long hair.
These guys came to Friends of Petraits Rescue when their family lost interest in their pets.
They are sweet, gentle, easy to hold, and get along beautifully.
They eat unlimited timothy, orchard, and botanical hays, share two cups of fresh salad each day, and a 1/4 cup of guinea pig pellets. Guinea pigs need daily vitamin C which they get from fresh pellets, a 1-inch square of red pepper, or some of their dark leafy greens.
Please read up on guinea pig care and diet before adopting by visiting this excellent website http://www.guinealynx.info/
They would love a home with people who will handle them daily, keep them well-fed, nails trimmed, and keep their habitat nice and clean.
If you’re interested in meeting and possibly adopting Qwinkleshire & Binkledorf, please fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofpetraits.com/guinea-pig-adoption-application/ and follow up to make an appointment by contacting friendsofpetraits@gmail.com
Their adoption fee of $50 as a pair benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue Group. For an additional $50, you can purchase their Midwest guinea pig cage and all their supplies.
They are being fostered in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.
