My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Logan is about 16 months old and would love an active home with other playful dogs, outings and lots of exercise. He is good on a leash, other than the diabolical skateboards that plague the UNM campus where he sometimes walks with his foster dad. Logan is still reactive to other dogs when on leash, though it's due to excitement on his part, he still needs work with non-reaction. He cannot be trusted off-leash as yet, though his recall is good, as well as sit and lie down and 'go lie down'. He loves to ride in the car, but barks at things that come close like motorcycles, pedestrians, and dogs.

Logan is being fostered with Lucky the 6-year old front-leg amputee. They seem to love each other and play well most of the time, though Logan can sometimes get carried away, which can be tough on a 3-legged dog. He would do well with a dog that has equal energy and ability.

Logan likes men, women, and children and has visited with kids (5, 9 and 12 years old). He loved keeping up on what everyone was doing. He is very gentle with his mouth. He wants to be part of the action, even if that's cuddling on the couch.

Logan is housebroken and crate trained, does not counter surf, (though he will come right up to you and whatever you're eating) and has learned that only toys can be chewed. He is very smart and loving. He can be trusted to be left loose in the house even though shoes, socks and underwear will need to be managed in his presence!
