Meet 5-year-old, 76-pound sweet, Staffordshire terrier mix named PRIMO.

PRIMO appears to not have been around other animals in his past, so may be a bit socially awkward and possibly intimidating to other dogs.

PRIMO is eager to please and once he gets to know you, he will stay right by your side "velcro dog". He will need help with loose-leash walking. We noticed that he was not a fan of being restrained/hugged.

PRIMO appears housetrained and knows the 'sit' and 'shake' commands. He is a mellow fellow who would love to have a quiet home with older children only because of of large size. He was a good boy at our recent Petsmart meet-and-greet event.

PRIMO is fully-vaccinated, neutered and microchipped, so ready for a home.

BACKGROUND: PRIMO did not have a good life in his previous home where his family did not spend a lot of time with him. He entered the rescue a little shy to meet new people. Now that he knows what love is, he has totally changed and is such a sweetie.
