My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jenny!
She is a young, playful girl who loves heights, Churros, and her chirping bird toy that she will play with forever. She comes out of her shell when there are other cats nearby, so it is preferred to be placed in a home with cats already. She is very energetic and loves to play. Jenny is also very shy with people at first, but when a Churro is present, she will come right to you. Once she is comfortable around you, she will not stop purring and will sleep with you every night! If you are interested in adopting this animal please fill out an application at heartofthefoothills.org/adopt. Additional adoption info

Everyone that adopts must first fill out an application and get approved by our adoption team. We allow people to meet our animals to make sure it is the right fit along with letting their animals meet our animals as well as long as that animal meets the vetting criteria.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit and no-kill shelter in Rutherford North Carolina. We pull animals from animal control and take in animals from the community. We make sure everyone is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and put on something for fleas, ticks and heartworm prevention. We then place them up for adoption making sure they go into great homes.
