My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jerry was an owner surrender because his owner's circumstances changed and he no longer had the place for him. He is a big fella - 122 pounds of love:) Jerry will absolutely make someone a terrific pet, he just has to get to know you first. He does things on his own time, and not a second before he's ready. He's around 4 years old and set in his ways, but to those of us whom he allows in his life, he's a sweetheart! You will certainly need some patience with him, but he'll be so worth it! He's not quite ready for adoption, but will be soon.

Their adoption process

1.

Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Find pets online or in person. We do encourage meet and greets with our pets to see how they fit into your lifestyle.

2.

Submit Application

We also require a vet reference if you have a current one, and 2 personal references, with names and phone numbers to call.

3.

Approve Application

If references check out, you will be approved for adoption.

4.

Take the Pet Home

We have a 2-week trial visit for dogs. We hold your paperwork/adoption fee and you take the dog up to 2 weeks to get to know each other.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

At any point during the trial visit time, we will final the adoption only after you let us know that "he or she is ours"!
