Twinkle Toes has been with us since December, and she has shown us SO much of her personality during the last few months! She coexists easily with other cats, but really has no interest in befriending or interacting with them (#introvertlife). Twinkle Toes can be socially awkward, as she doesn't *quite* understand how communication normally works...she tends to hiss more than meow, but don't be fooled -- it's her own unique way of saying hello! After some time, she'll be purring once she realizes you're no stranger and is there to love on her. While she's not exactly the biggest fan of being picked up or held, she adores receiving scratches and pets, and can be such a ham! She has home experience, as she stayed with a foster for some time, and she did great!
Twinkle Toes follows what we affectionately call a "vampire schedule" -- she's 100% a night owl! She prefers to tuck away and sleep during the daytime hours, and once the moon rises and night falls, she ventures forth from her sleep area and is happy to hang out. So if you're someone who likes to stay up late, or if you have a nighttime schedule, Twinkle Toes is your gal! (Bonus points if you're a gamer who's looking for a cat to chill and share your victories with! )
If you break out the laser pointer, wand toys, or catnip toys, Twinkle Toes will be STOKED. Her previous foster said that he would find her catnip toys in her empty food bowl every morning!
Her sister, Spud, is now living her best life in her own forever home, and Twinkle Toes is eager to say the same for herself! It's not often we see female orange tabbies come through our doors, as most orange tabbies are male, so come on by and meet this cutie today!
