My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Birthdate:  07/18/2020

Breed: One of a kind

Weight:   74 lbs

You've heard of a cat having a dog's personality, right? But what about a dog with a panther's charm? Unveiling the super-lovable, larger-than-life Panther—a true doggy icon!

With Panther, size truly does matter. Despite his big-boy appearance, Panther has the heart of a gentle giant that wouldn't harm a fly. Canine companions, human buddies—everybody falls in love with Panther’s sweet and affectionate demeanor.

Days spent with Panther are fun-filled with oodles of play. A robust fetch player and a brisk runner, Panther could beat an Olympian! But what stands him apart is his secret superpower: warm hugs. There's nothing like a Panther hug after a long, tiring day! These bear-like hugs filled with love are sure to make you swoon.

Simply put, Panther has mastered the art of love and fun. Bringing such warmth, laughter, and cuddles into your world, Panther is not just a pet but the perfect soulmate. Is it a dog’s life, you say? More like a panther’s paradise!

Walk-ins are welcome! Stop by during our open hours to meet our available dogs!!

Before you can adopt, please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website at pawscrossedny.org/dog-adoption-questionnaire. If you have any questions, please email us at adoptions@pawscrossedny.org for more information. Please understand that we cannot hold any pets. All adoptions are done on a first come, first adopt basis for pre-approved applicants.

The Shelter software system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
