My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Penny is a beautiful 3 year old American Staffordshire terrier female that was rescued after being dumped in the high desert. Poor Penny had to endure the elements just to survive, and needed a trapper just to be saved from the mountain area she was hiding at after being dumped.  Penny is very shy and gets startled easily.  We think she would do best in a quiet home where beautiful Penny can decompress and feel safe and secure and start gaining confidence.  Penny has been friendly with the dogs she’s met while out on walks, and we think another dog would also help with gaining confidence.  She’s an absolute love of a dog and just needs a family that will be patient with her and give her love and stability so she can gain trust after someone treated her horribly before discarding this sweet girl.  We know that once given the patience and love she do greatly deserves, she will be the most amazing girl.  Penny is current on her vaccinations, is spayed, received a comprehensive fecal test, deworming and is microchipped.  Please open your heart and home to beautiful Penny.

If you're interested in adopting Penny, please fill out an application at www.doggiebonez.com. You can also check out our social media pages on Instagram (@Doggie_Bonez_Inc_) and Facebook (Doggie Bonez) to see more of Penny's cuteness. Our adoption fee for dogs, which includes vaccinations, fecal testing, wellness exams, microchipping, spaying, or neutering, is $500.

If adoption isn't feasible, please consider fostering one of our pups. We are a volunteer-run non-profit dog rescue and always welcome new short or long-term doggie foster families. Doggie Bonez will provide you with everything you need, including dog food, a bed, toys, medical attention (if required), and more. So, if you're interested, please visit www.doggiebonez.com to see all of our available dogs who need a foster family while waiting for their forever home and complete the foster application.
