Teo is a handsome and sweet four-year-old, 27-pound, shepherd-mix looking for a loving guardian.

Sweet Teo (pronounced Tay-oh) was rescued after being chained in a junkyard in Mexico.

This amazing dog is being fostered in a home in Chicago where he’s proven housebroken, non-destructive, and great with other dogs, and loves people.

He’s looking for someone to take him into their home and heart. He’d love daily exercise and to go for training to bond with his new family. He’ll do best with adults and teens. He’s currently living with two dogs and two autistic children under the age of six, and he’s great with the dogs, but the children stress him out a bit.

Teo is extremely healthy, neutered, heartworm-tested negative, and on monthly heartworm preventative, microchipped, and vaccinated for rabies, distemper, leptospirosis, and bordetella. He does have a right front foot that’s been broken and healed a bit wonky, but that doesn’t slow him down at all.
