My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

NEW ENGLAND ADOPTER/FOSTER NEEDED or FOSTER-TO-ADOPT

Sam is a two year old, terrier mix and weighs about 60 lbs.  Sam is a good boy who gets along with other dogs, is working on leash training and crate trained.  He is currently being fostered in Northeast Texas.Sam is a bouncy happy go lucky big boy who never met a treat, toy, or person he didn’t like.  He is athletic and loves to run and play fetch with enthusiasm.  He loves affection and likes to lay beside you and chew on one of his toys.  Sam is high energy pup and would benefit from an active family.  Because of his high energy, Sam would be ok with older chilfren.  He would love to find a forever family who has a fenced yard to play in and take him hiking and campinng.

NOTE: Sam is currently in Texas and looking for a New England adopter or foster home. Foster-to-adopt is an option.

For more info, please email skylyrspassion@att.net OR visit our website: http://www.lifesaverssp.org/

We will conduct a phone interview, check references and then a home check. This helps us to match a dog with their potential adopter. The adoption fee is $400.00 for adults and $500.00 for puppies under one year which includes spay/neutering, up-to-date age-appropriate vaccinations, flea/tick & heartworm preventative, and a health certificate. We foster our dogs in homes, not in shelters. This allows us to get to know the dogs’ temperaments to match them to a home. This also allows us to get the dogs ready to live in their forever homes! All dogs coming from the south have been quarantined for two weeks and fully vetted before traveling to New England!

More about this rescue

Lifesavers: Skylyr’s Passion, LSP, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping pets help people and people help pets. LSP was founded in 2012 to give homeless pets a chance at the life they deserve and give people that want them an opportunity to find them.

We focus on matching homeless pets with potential adoptive families. This has resulted in some amazing results: We have many adoptions that have the humans telling us that they are thrilled to have found the pet they adopted. And the pets are equally thrilled with the homes they have found.

We are just people who happen to love animals and believe that unwanted pets deserve a chance. We have developed a network of amazing like-minded people who foster, transport, volunteer, and support. The end result is that we are making a difference! We invite you to become part of the team. It is fun and very rewarding
