Athena came to us through a desperate call from a man who said his dad was gone and Athena was left behind. He tried to take in Athena, but his dog wasn't accepting and he was afraid the dog would really hurt her. She is a shy girl, but she is coming around with the love and patience of our volunteers. She is in our main cat roaming room, cohabiting just fine with the other cats. SAVE has an adoption center located at the Brick PetSmart, 2 Brick Plaza, Brick, NJ 08723. Adoption Hours are Wednesdays 5:30pm-7:30pm & Sat-Sun 11am-4pm.

SAVE also has a Thrift Shop located at 777 Fischer Blvd. Toms River. At this location we do not show cats for adoption without an appointment. Please call 732-288-2884 to make an appointment.
