Submit Application

Approve Application

After a telephone conversation and character reference checks you may meet the animal at its foster home or an agreed upon location.

3.
Meet the Pet

For cats, you may be pre-approved to adopt at the first meeting. For dogs, we require a first meeting before an adoption can be finalized.

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Adoption Agreements are sent out by email for electronic signature. It is very convenient!

5.
Pay Fee

Fee payments can be made by e-transfer or by cash or cheque at the time of adoption.

6.
Take the Pet Home

There is a two-week trial adoption period in which a full refund of the adoption fee is offered if it is not a good match.

Steinbach and Area Animal Rescue is a foster-based, non-profit organization that has served the south east of Manitoba since 2013. Volunteers are the lifeline of the organization, which is committed to finding forever homes for abandoned, homeless, and surrendered companion animals.
