My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Timmy is a 5 year old handsome grey guy who came to us as a stray with badly infected eyes. He's been residing in a loving foster home and is now ready to find his forever home. We are not sure how well Timmy can see, but we think he can see how much we love him. He enjoys gentle pets and yummy treats, and he likes other kitties and would enjoy having a feline friend. If you have a nice quiet home and lots of love to give, please send us your application via our website and we will arrange for you to meet Timmy.

Go meet their pets

Our orphanage is open to the public Monday-Friday from 12pm to 7pm, with the exception of the second Wednesday of each month during which we are closed for major cleaning.
On weekends you can visit our orphans between 12pm and 5pm Saturday and Sunday. We also have some adorable adoptable cats and kittens at offsite locations: PetSmart in Marlton and PetValu stores of Cherry Hill, Marlton and Voorhees.

More about this shelter

The Animal Orphanage of Voorhees is a loving place that welcomes 2,000 homeless pets each year. Our shelter is open intake, which means our doors are open to dogs and cats of any age, medical condition or breed. We are a no-kill facility and do not euthanize for space.
We are a non-profit organization and depend on donations and volunteers to keep our shelter doors open.
