Appa is a vocal cat. She will meow at you for rubs and attention. She will meow at you to remind you that she needs to be fed. She will snuggle and sit with you. She likes to chase toys on a string when the human is flinging it around. She’s warm towards people after she gets to know them. She will run out towards you when she hears the word, “snack!” She is especially attached to her sister, MOMO. They are a unique pair.

Gurrs and Purrs is a private,federally registered 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue organization. Our mission is to provide care and rehabilitation for dogs and cats that have been abandoned, abused and neglected and to provide as many of these deserving animals a second chance at loving permanent homes. We also stress the importance of educating the community regarding proper pet care including spay/neuter and micro chipping. Gurrs and Purrs relies solely on volunteers and individual donations.
