Howdy! I am BalaReenie Bamboo Bambino Baby but you can call me Bambi for short. It's a long story, you probably don't want to ask. I'm, like, a super cool dog (a Black and Tan Coonhound to be precise) and if you were hip you'd adopt me. 'Cause I need a home and everything. I never had one before.
I like to have fun and PAW-TY hardy! And I'm a lean, mean fightin' machine! (Disclaimer: my foster mom says this is false advertising--I'm lean, but not at all mean) I am ready to rumble (my foster mom says the correct term is TUMBLE); just ask my foster brother Reese if you don't believe me! I've got moves that would make a professional wrestler jealous, I can body slam Reese OR the ground with the umpf! of three Hulk Hogans! I can dodge; I can twist and leap and I can make the right grown man weep! He'll just be so impressed with me he'll be moved to tears.
So, like, I'm tough and all but I'm also actually very sweet. And a bit silly. My foster mom says that I must have been a clown in my former life...whatever that means. She laughs at me because I have a thing for standing on two legs. Like, I guess she hasn't counted how many she has been standing on recently!?! Also because I contort myself into awkward positions when I play and I slip and slide all over the floor with gusto and am fascinated with anything I can see a reflection in! Yes, this means I stand and gaze into the outside of a dish washer door every morning, and more than once.
So like, eavesdropping is not my thing...but I overheard my foster mom bragging on me to her friend the other day. She told her that she saw improvement in me EVERY day! And that I am learning how to live inside, and how good it feels to have my belly rubbed, and how soft and comfortable and warm the couch is; especially if Reese is snuggling with us, and all about people food and manners! *cough, cough, bark, bark* Yeah... 😁
Anyway, all that is basically to say that if you think I'm cute (and, let's face it--I am) and you have enough patience to bear with me as I continue furthering my education in alternative lifestyles, then let's meet up and see if we vibe! I can probably move in with you within the next two weeks if the chicks at the Highland County Humane Society bless it! That would be so rad. Until then...xxoo, Love Bambi 💜
