My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peachy Montague is a kitty who loves to be spoiled and will spoil you in turn. He enjoys being pet, purrs constantly and is happily independent and equally happy getting affection. He's a great cat for the person who wants both! He loves to give you a periodic little licky kiss and loves to wrap his arms in your hand as you pet him. He likes to come snuggle in bed in the morning and purrs contentedly. He will laze with you on the sofa and adorn you with affection as you pet him.

His favorite spots are high up on the cat tree when he's not playing with his favorite crinkly toy. He's grown up with other cats and dogs and is fine with them all. He has grown up with big 50 lbs. dogs and is chill with them. His gorgeous fur is soft to the touch and the floof factor is one for the top kitty model magazines! Also, he's BEST BUDS with Captain Curiosity, his blind brother, although Captain doesn't rely on him for living and they could easily be adopted separately. They're buddies, not bonded.

He's currently in a foster home as his bout at Petco for more visibilty caused him to be very homesick. His foster mama couldn't handle it and he's back home! More about this rescue

Whiskers, Tails and Ferals is a network of volunteers and foster families caring for dogs, puppies, cats, and kittens who have been abandoned, are feral, or are facing the threat of being euthanized at an animal shelter.
All dogs and cats that come into our program are spayed or neutered, are tested for either heartworm or FeLV and possibly FIV, vaccinated, wormed (as needed) and micro-chipped. The Vallejo location only handles cats.
All sick animals are immediately put under the care and supervision of a Napa veterinarian and Whiskers, Tails and Ferals pays for their medications.
The cats and kittens that are not able to be tamed, are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and returned to their colonies where colony guardians continue to feed and care for them.
