This happy go lucky girl is ready to make ALL the friends. She loves people and keeping active makes her happy. She loves to run and play and has a higher energy level. One of her favorite things ever is attending in shelter playgroups. Playing with other dogs is so much fun, and it’s a great way for her to get some energy out! She’s a sweet girl who’s open to making lots of doggy friends. She gets very happy when she has someone to hang out with and finds it very exciting – sometimes so exciting she jumps like a bunny rabbit! This is much more likely to happen if you have something she wants, like a treat. She LOVES treats and will sit on command for one.

Our regular adoption fee is $100 payable by money order or credit card. The fee covers basic vaccinations, Rabies vaccination, microchip, heart worm testing for dogs, and the spay/neuter surgery.

You will be required to sign to an adoption contract and other paperwork relating to the adoption of your new family member.

Our kennel hours are Monday-Friday 10 am to 4 pm and Wednesday 5 pm to 7 pm. We are also open on Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm.

More about this shelter

We are an open admission, municipal shelter serving the unincorporated area of Fort Bend County, TX.

We are the county's rabies control authority as well as being their animal shelter. On average, we take in approximately 4,000-5,000 pets per year.

The staff at FBCAS is small but each and every one of us is dedicated to making the stay of the pets in our care as comfortable as possible. Our hearts are in this and with every pet that crosses our threshold.

We are part of the amazing Fort Bend County community and we are always striving to work with our community people and partners to make our shelter the best it can be.

We can always use new volunteers to help us keep our pets happy and healthy while they wait for their forever home.
