Update from the foster mom- Hi, Sugar here again! I'm very confused as to why I've been overlooked for so long. I was told kittens usually find their fur-ever home quickly, so I wonder why I haven't found mine yet?? I'm super cute, with wide curious eyes, full of wonder, and super playful. One of my pictures was even used on an advertising post for an event, although they used my sibling's name instead of mine by accident. My foster parents say I have a silky soft coat, a purr motor that doesn't stop running, and I'm very well behaved When I entered foster care, I was scared, like really scared, and not so nice, but I've really come around to my foster parents, and now, I'm a very nice boy! I seek attention and like getting pet. I still don't love being held, but I can be picked up for short moves from one place to another. I'd really love a home of my own to explore! Can I share yours?

For our dogs, we are a foster-based organization that primarily helps our county government-operated shelter with surrender diversion, i.e. owners rehoming pets, help with behavior issues, etc. In September 2023 we opened a cat adoption center that supports the effort to keep more cats out of the shelter.
