Hey, there! I'm Gary. I'm a smart boy who knows all my basic commands such as sit, stay, and wait. I'll even stop barking when told "quiet." I am treat- motivated and more than happy to show off my skills in order to receive one! Although I am good with both other dogs my size, I would prefer an adult-only home or older children where I will be given the space and time I need to learn and grow. I've been in Lucy's Hope care for 557 days. That's way too long for a smart boy like me to be overlooked. Please come meet me and give me a chance.

Once the pet is with you the foster-to-adopt (FTA) process begins. This is a 30-60 days period where we cover the dogs medical and training.

7.
Sign Adoption Contract

After the FTA period, you are eligible to finalize the adoption. This is when you will pay the adoption fee.

Additional adoption info

Lucy's Hope Sanctuary & Rescue has a 30 (thirty) to 60 (sixty) day foster-to-adopt (FTA) period that is required. During this period LHSR covers the cost of any training or medical that is needed as well as checks in routinely to make sure that everything is doing well and the new dog is settling into the home nicely.
