My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bruno is a really special dude. He began his stay with us when he was picked up by an officer. Though he was very scared and likely abandoned, Bruno quickly befriended our officer and gobbled down some snacks. Bruno has done phenomenally once he builds that relationship and trust with his circle. It may take a few snacks and patience, but Bruno is a solid friend who adores belly rubs and takes the most adorable naps in fluffy dog beds. He is extremely smart and food motivated, so he has picked up on training fast! We would consider Bruno dog selective; he is fairly neutral about the idea of other dogs outside of the kennel environment and does prefer to keep his resources separate.

More about this shelter

The shelter has very active volunteer and foster programs. Volunteers walk dogs and help with cat care. Fosters take young, shy and injured animals into their homes to prepare them for adoption. Learn more on our website and consider getting involved today!
