Meet our super handsome and thicc boy named Bam Bam! He is about 6 years old and he is a lovey guy! Bam Bam was originally adopted from our shelter about 4 years ago. Unfortunately, his owner has had some very serious health issues come up, and they were no longer able to care for Bam Bam. We immediately agreed to take him back in to our shelter to find him a new home. Bam Bam is a friendly dog who loves to play with toys! He likes butt scratches and being with his people. He is a dog that likes to get a lot of attention. Bam Bam is a bit overweight at this time and could use a good diet. He is good with other dogs, but would probably be a bit much for a smaller dog as he doesn't know his own size. He is not a fan of cats. Bam Bam can go to a home with children 12 years old and older.

MAC IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK (M-F 8-4pm) (Sat-Sun 10-4pm) Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal. Appts to meet dogs can made to suit your schedule, please email/call for an appt. We do prefer to be contacted by email for adoption inquiries at Adopt@savingpawsct.org. The office phone number is 203-235-4179. Leave a message, and someone will call you back promptly.
You must be 21 years of age to adopt with valid ID. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.
Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal.
An approved application does not guarantee an adoption. We do not hold animals for meet and greet appointments.
ALL ANIMALS ARE SPAYED AND NEUTERED BEFORE THEY GO HOME.
