My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This little fuzzy, soft, cuddly, adorable 8 pound bundle of love is looking for a new home to call his own. Unfortunately his owner could no longer take care of him, so Pooch found himself in an animal shelter hoping someone would rescue him out of there, so we did. He loves people, would be fine with older kids and he is good with other dogs. He is fairly active and loves to run around the yard checking things out, but he also loves a nice warm lap to lay in. That being said, he will be a lot of company to some lucky person or family. Pooch has cataracts, so his sight is not great and his hearing is not very good at all, but it doesn’t slow him down a bit…he can keep up with the best of them. He is eight years old (dob 10/12/15) and only weighs 8 pounds. He has been neutered, 4DX heartworm tested, microchipped, dental, fecal tested, current on all vaccinations, worming and on heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $300

Pooch is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.
