My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nikki is a sweet and loving doggy, she is currently 1.5 yrs old and 13 lbs.

She was relinquished by her original family to DRWB because they decided to get bigger dogs and believed a smaller dog was not a good match.

When she first arrived at the foster's home she was a tad shy, the foster also noticed that she looks at the broom with eyes wide open and stays very attentive to it. We don't know if she ever had a bad experience involving a broom.

Nikki is a doggy of medium energy level, she walks great on leash and gets along great with other dogs. She immediately adjusted to her new environment and the other dogs in the house accepted her. She is not a huge fan of the cat in the house, she didn't attack her but she didn't try to play with her either.

Nikki is not a barker and is generally calm, she only barks when she gets excited. She loves to be petted and sit right next to her foster to watch TV.

She is very well behaved, the vet said she is calm during check ups and does not make a big deal during vaccinations or checks.

Nikki lives indoors and has access to a patio where she goes potty, she likes to go on artificial turf. She sleeps in her playpen.

This girl is a gem and deserves to go to a wonderful family that will commit to her for the rest of her life.
