Meet resilient Neinna! Neinna came to us fearful of everyone and hissed and bat at her foster parents when they got too close. That has all changed! Neinna wants to be affectionate and has been adventuring out of her hiding spots to socialize and to be pet every time her foster parents walk into the room. But if it gets to be too much, she will politely set boundaries when she feels uncomfortable. She is not a fan of dogs but doesn’t seem to mind them if they ignore her. Neinna is such a resilient and strong girl and has an incredible capacity to be a loving companion. She enjoys watching life outside the window, thankful that she has a warm and loving foster home that will continue to give her the stability and the love she needs to grow. Neinna’s healing journey is not over yet and she wants a loving and safe place to show you how far she can go.
A few things about Neinna
- She can take a little to warm up to strangers, but when she does, you can bet she will be your best pal and will love to show you her affectionate side.
- Neinna is still startled by fast movement – her life before was so scary – so slow and steady wins her heart.
- Neinna is starting to like to play with toys and will soon find her inner kitten again.

More about this rescue
Soul Dog is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit animal rescue organization founded with the mission to spay/neuter and protect animals. We are currently a small group of committed volunteers making a difference in the life of one animal at a time. As an all volunteer administration, all donations made to Soul Dog go directly to improving the health of the pets that share our lives.
Soul Dog is proactive in animal welfare advancing the need for spaying and neutering our pets to reduce overpopulation. We travel to rural communities on Native American reservations, where spaying and neutering will only happen if it is nearly free or very convenient. Soul Dog works with volunteer veterinarians to provide the spaying and neutering service at no cost to the public. Donations are used to defray the costs associated with medications, supplies, and the operating cost for clinics.
