After Koneko was returned to us from an abusive situation, she was traumatized and needed a long time to learn to trust again. Her TC Paw foster has worked hard to bring her along to where he feels she's ready for her new home. He is devoted to her and will let her go only to people who will love her as he does and whom she can trust as she does him. Konnie is very sweet and cuddly with him. She loves their one-on-one time together. She loves catnip too. Konnie seems uncomfortable sharing space with the other cats in her foster home, and she dislikes the dog, so we think she'd do best as the only cat in a home where she can have the attention she craves.

An adoption coordinator will call to complete a phone interview.

Home Check

Adoption coordinator will call personal and veterinarian references.

Approve Application

Meet the Pet

Pets may be in foster homes or at the Traverse City Pet Smart cattery to meet potential adopters.

Sign Adoption Contract

Our adoption hours at the Traverse City PetSmart are Tuesday 5-7 pm, Saturday 12-2pm and Sunday 2-4 pm.
