My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ella, a resilient Cane Corso mix seeking a new home after being surrendered due to her owner`s inability to handle her spirited nature. Ella will thrive as the only pet, requiring undivided attention in a secure environment with high fencing. No cats or small animals for sure, she has a high prey drive. Ella has gotten along with another large dog however we believe she is dog selective (likes some dogs but does not like others). If there are already dogs in the household a meet and greet is required. She does play a little bit, however someone too rowdy would overwhelm her-- she needs a dog who is content to simply share the home or plays soft and daintily. Potty trained (may need a refresher with an environment change, this is not a guarantee but what the owner told us) but physically strong, Ella needs an experienced owner familiar with the breed`s challenges, committed to training and providing structure. Her ideal match will recognize the nuances of Cane Corsos, guiding her to become a well-behaved and balanced companion. If you`re ready to invest time and effort into Ella`s training, you`ll discover a loyal and loving canine companion. No young or energetic kids-- 10 years and older would be best and everyone in the household will be required to meet Ella. Ella can be shy and may take multiple appointments to be confident enough to approach potential adopters--she is worth the effort and extremely loyal once she knows her family and feels safe.<3
