Entering her golden years of life, Tina is a 7-year-old, cuddly couch potato at heart. If you`re inside, you can most likely find her happily relaxing on the couch, and she loves to cuddle if you sit with her! When playing in the yard she loves to chase her favorite ball, and is becoming more playful as she progresses on her fitness journey. She knows `sit` and is working on `down`. Bath time is no big deal for her, and she is eager to jump into the car for a ride so she`s pretty easy going! Tina is very social with people, and has a calm/gentle nature. She wags her tail and wants to greet every human she meets.
Sadly, it was discovered Tina had an invasive form of cancer, but luckily she had surgery to amputate a leg and help prevent further spread. She recovered well with a medical foster family and now is ready to find her forever family. While in her foster home, she was with kids aged 7 and 11 and was great with them. She is often reactive to other dogs nearby during walks, so might need to be an only pet. Thanks to Justin, who has kindly paid her adoption fee.
To me meet Tina, or any other pet at the Humane Society of Broward County, complete the pre-adoption application at www.humanebroward.com. The shelter is located at 2070 Griffin Road, Fort Lauderale, FL 33312 and the adoption kennels open daily at 11 a.m. Call the adoption desk at 9954-989-3977 ext. 6 to learn more.
