Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Digby is currently being treated for Lyme disease. This is no a serious issue people. He is a sweet guy who doesn't understand why he was neutered on 11/1 and then his owner drops him off at an animal control to be euthanized.
Lucky for this youngster, he was pulled by a dedicated vet tech and we are finding him a home with someone who cares.
"The short answer is yes. If Lyme disease is caught early, your veterinarian will provide antibiotics that will usually cure your dog in four weeks. Lyme disease is generally treated with the antibiotic doxycycline. If your dog is experiencing pain, your veterinarian may also prescribe anti-inflammatory medication." https://www.akc.org/expert-advice/health/lyme-disease-in-dogs/
