Are you looking for a strapping young Bulldog? One with a bit more energy than the average lazy Bulldog and could go on a walk or slow jog with you? Well, meet this handsome, funny, and sweet boy Aurelio (pronounced Ah-Rule-Eee-Oh). He will be 2 years old in 2 of 22. He has no health issues, is crate trained and is "working on" his potty training. He loves all people and dogs, is food and positive reinforcement motivated. He can do stairs, lives car rides, enjoys some toys and bones but mostly loves people, pets and treats!
He hasn't had much training or exposure, so we are working on showing him the world (even if scary at times). We suspect he has been sheltered and had no training in his first (almost) two years, so while he is excited to go with his people and see new things he is scared until he learns that new places, things, noises are not scary and he is a bit of a Bull(dog) in a China closet. He needs congoing training and consistency to learn manners and personal space. This 55lbs toddler still thinks he is a tiny puppy and doesn't realize his size!
He knows his name, sit (most of the time), crate, and come (though he doesn't always listen, so I would NOT say he has good recall). He walks on a leash but tends to weave from side to side behind but he is not a puller.
I'd recommend a home with other dogs that he can learn from and shadow, with a fenced yard given his lack of consistent recall.
